The Birthday Club™ is a free program, which provides an opportunity for community members to share with people in need by collecting healthy food at their birthday parties (anniversaries and other celebrations), and then donating the food to their local food pantry.

 Based on an action research study, the food gathered through The Birthday Club™ would generate ADDITIONAL bags of groceries into local food pantries. This means that there is the potential for adding over 182,000,000 million bags of groceries on to the shelves of our local food pantries without spending any additional money. How is that possible? TBC encourages people to redirect money that would normally be spent on typical birthday gifts and use the money to buy groceries.

When you host a TBC party, you receive so much more than you give. TBC can be a program to introduce or reinforce community giving within your family.
