Welcome! And thank you for visiting with us as we are introducing The Birthday Club©. This free program encompasses the spirit of the birthday party celebration where people come together to enjoy each other’s company and have fun. It also provides an opportunity for community members to share with people in need by collecting food at their birthday parties and donating it to a food pantry.

The Birthday Club© is designed to be easy and fun for adults and children of all ages to utilize. Even the family pets can participate!

Here’s how it works:

There are two approaches included in The Birthday Club©: Gift Suggestion 1 and Gift Suggetion 2.

Gift Suggestion 1 is designed for the birthday person to receive nonperishable food at their birthday party which will be donated to the local food pantry.

Gift Suggestion 2 is designed for the birthday person to receive a nonperishable food item in addition to the usual gift. The nonperishable food would be donated to the local food pantry.  

This website provides sample invitations, thank you notes, and other resources for families to host a Birthday Club© party.

The beauty of The Birthday Club© is the simplicity of the design, The Birthday Club© can be adapted for other community outreach endeavors such as saving the rainforest, sponsoring animals at the Smithsonian National Zoo. We have a section for Share Ideas which will provide a forum for our website visitors to share what they being doing as part of their support to their communities.
